Shunt - 500A, 50 mV

This Deltec shunt is the industry standard for systems with a continuous maximum current of 400 amps with no overloads, or 300 amps with up to 5-minute overloads of up to 500 amps. Like all shunts, it is a low-resistance precision resistor that is wired in series with the load you want to measure, producing a small voltage that meters and monitors (like MidNite's Whiz Bang Jr, available separately above) can read and convert to an amperage reading.

Features two mounting holes of .205" diameter, 1.25" apart. High-current connections are made to two bolts (3/8"-16) which are 1.5" apart (center to center).
